Something I inherited from my mother’s side of the family is my love for footwear. I love shoes. I have too many pairs for an everyday, typical straight male. These Clark’s are my absolute favorite pair right now. Had them for a few months and I wear them just about everyday.

Some days are just better spent inside relaxing. I can be outside and fun and lively, and I enjoy those days tenfold, but sometimes I just want to be inside all day. Some of the best days are spent doing nothing but finding yourself extremely productive in the wake of emptiness. Drawing, painting, building, reading, playing, watching, laughing, nothing.

I want to be with a person that identifies with this and would enjoy forgetting the outside world for a brief moment and choosing to stay locked away around the house or in bed with me all day.

I’m having a hard time trying to stay grounded. I need to keep cool and collected. I can’t let things get the best of me. It’s been a long time since I think I felt a certain way. I’m not positive I know how to handle it. I don’t mind who reads this. The stats to this blog are consistently increasing, so apparently I still get some traffic.

I do know that colorful, unabashed personality, chemistry, repeated laughter, a clear passion and immense talent are very much things that reach out to me and explicitly pull me in.

I dug these old videos up from beyond the grave [of MySpace.] Man, we were just some kids having fun and making loud [indecipherable] noise. These are some of my best friends and I have some of my best memories hanging with these guys every day.
